I knew a dude whose father was an amazing artist and had the outside of their house airbrushed in some sort of Nightmare On Elm Street kind of way. Or maybe that was his car? Or both... either way, everyone called the dude Freddy Krueger. And they called his dad 'Sir', I guess. I never actually met his dad, so I don't really know. They were kinda weird, to tell you the truth.

A lot of the great places have been shut down... it's really depressing. But there's still some great venues in the area. I guess I'm just bitter ever since they leveled my favorite club, The Abyss. That was all kinds of wrong.
