Essex (with the Whispering Your Name), Hometime (standout track - Do You Ever Wonder), and Voice (stunning collection of standards), plus her new CD The Turn (standout here is One More Time) is quite good and includes some of the songs from a stage play she did last year in the UK. There are some previews on her MySpace page. If you like Alsion, check out new British soul singer Adele (who I see as a cross between Moyet and Amy Winehouse). I think you might like her as well.
People would probably only know her in the US from 'Situation'. I think that was with Yaz. My ex-girlfriend was crazy about her and Moyet was always on the turntable (yes, I'm old). An incredible voice.
I must admit I don't know much about her work after the early 90's or so. Any recommendations?
