I see you have Slipknot's video here, I simply LOVE Psychosocial! That song is the best one they've done this far, I love the part where they scream: THE LIMITS OF THE DEAD!
Please send me a link to Choate Road and i'll check it out first chance I get.
I was really mad about Glastonbury as that's the 2nd publisher to let me down with it. It'll now be publihsed by 4RV Publishing, and I do hope you enjoy it when it is finally released. You can read a bit more about it at www.glastonburythenovel.webs.com/
How lovely to hear from you. Thanks so much for your congratulations, and of course, for your vote. Of course you can still have the autograph. Just let me have your address and I'll send the signed slip to you whihc can be pasted into the front of the book. When you decie on the reveiw just let me know. Glastonbury isn't out yet because the publisher who had it wnet bust and my agent found me a new one, but it means the book will now appear later than intended, maybe later this year. I'm just putting the finishing touches to the sequel to A Study in Red which should also appear this year.
I hope you're keeping well, and it really is wonderful to hear from you after all this time.
How are you, Jezzy? Sorry for not poking my head in here sooner. I'll fix that now!
My band was called AFTERLIFE and I sang and played guitar. We were kind of like Social Distortion meets Nirvana, in a weird way. I forget the name of the person, but we played their backyard, which was filled with kids. I remember a really wild incident with the life guard stands, and with some unsavory behavior in either the Ripley's museum or somewhere similar. I took a picture with a Freddy Krueger statue somewhere.
The good news is my wildest stories are yet to come!
Thanks for your lovely words of congratulations Jezzy. Its nice of you to take the time to say those things. Hope it was a nice hat, I'm sure it suited you...lol
I need to get a Choate logo on my site. And I need to put a GST banner on my myspace. And I can't get that screen saver of Thongman off my computer. And I am a logged on idiot. And my son is starting to slow down peddling which makes my internet connection flicker.
Come over here and straighten out my severely limited computer knowledge and skills...it's only a 4 hr drive! I have coffee...
I've always used the place. I logged out out once, forgot the password, and I was too lazy to search for it. It all boils down to that work ethic thing... ;)
As far as King stories go, The Stand would be my favorite. The movie was just so/so and probably shouldn't have been attempted back then. They might be able to do it now, but it would probably need to be a series of movies because it's a whopping tale. ;o)
It's good to see you over here, Jezzy. I need to rent Christine too. I haven't seen it in years...should probably also read it again, haven't done that in years either.
I know I was being a big time wimp about it and kept trying to chicken out but I have to admit, that was a blast!
Let me know next time you're going to rob another Starbucks! Although I think we grabbed enough coffee to last us till 2009...well, maybe next week for you. LOL!

Pssst…me again. Thought I’d check in on you. See what kind of problems you got today. No problems? That’s a problem. You’re an adventurer, a thinker, a romantic, a thrillseeker — something in a Walter Mitty fantasy that needs an adrenaline feed. You need a problem. Well…to be precise, you need a problem and a [...]
I like to write about places I’ve never been to. It’s liberating, and it’s an experience that I recommend to other writers.
But wait a minute, you ask. Don’t you have to visit places you write about? Don’t you have to step on another country’s soil, smell the air, mingle with the inhabitants and interact with [...]
Now and then I sit back and contemplate the difference between myself and a few of the other writers I know. More often, I sit back and consider the differences between successful writers and those who haven’t yet reached published status. I need to clarify something here. When I say “published,” what I mean is [...]
I have a full-time job with a utility company, and while that job is staying, the location is moving… and me with it. Starting in a month, I can expect an additional sixty minutes added to my daily commute (thirty minutes each way.)

Oh well, back to work on the sequel.

One of my bands once played Virginia Beach on a d.i.y. tour. Cool! Lots of really messed up memories . . . in a good way.
